Performed legal research, client interviews and representing clients in court. Summer 2008 Legal Intern, Washburn Law Clinic – Topeka, Kansas Obtained Legal Intern license from The Supreme Court of Kansas. Involved in the family law practice of the clinic. Legal experience included: interviewing and counseling clients, filing pleadings, arguing at hearings, and filing final orders.

1997- 2006 President, Filtration Services Company – Sandy, Utah / Sugar City, Idaho Responsible for business operations of a service and sales company, servicing air filters and paint booth units on site. Full sales, purchasing, inventory, and accounting responsibilities. Sold accounts and dissolved corporation to attend law school.

 

2001-2002 Operations Manager, Point Supply LLC – Sandy, Utah Managed the day-to-day business operations of an industrial tool sales company during an ownership transition period. Responsible for the formation and implementation of a detailed business plan. 1995-1997 Estimator, Project Management, Equipment Plus LLC – Sandy, Utah Worked as a project estimator for a commercial building and equipment installation contractor.

 

Community Involvement 

 

February2016 – Present Board of Directors Member, Developmental Workshop, Inc. – Idaho Falls, Idaho Volunteer member of the Board of Directors. Member of the Personnel & Programs Committee. Reviewing policies and procedures monthly to assess needed updates to conform with accreditation requirements. Attending monthly board meetings and monthly committee meetings. Involvement in reviewing monthly accounting, personnel, and activities reports.
